Birulia, an ancient and small village on the banks of the Turag River. Probably half an hour distance from Mirpur Dhaka. Birulia Jamidar Bari is famous for its many ancient buildings by then Zaminder of Bengal. this village is very closer and take only 45 minutes from Mirpur 10. Infact, the village is surrounded by Turag river. In winter time, tourist have to cross the river by boat. Then a banyan tree can be seen there. There are so many temples are existed too.
How to Go Birulia: Get on Laguna from Mirpur-1 to Mirpur Beribadh, then get on at Mohana or Alif Paribahan and got down from a place called Bot Tala of Mirpur embankment. There you will find a boat helping to cross the small river. and you will see the paved ghat of the zamindar’s house on that bank. And this is how you reached the Village called Birulia.
