Madhupur National Park: The gateway to Jungle – Wildlife & Birding Tours in Tangail

Today we will discuss Madhupur National Park. However, the jungle surfer may explore one of the major and earliest national parks in Bangladesh which are located at Tangail Mymenshing Highway, Madhupur national park. Madhupur National Park, Tangail is called the Home of the beautiful capped langur monkey, wild boar, barking deer, and a galaxy of bird species. It is ideally located in Tangail which covers almost 8500 acres of area. The forest is situated on the western side of the Tangail-Mymensingh main road. The park is located in the northeastern part of the Tangail district and is administered under the jurisdiction of the Tangail forest division. The Madhupur national park is mostly under the Madhupur Upazila of Tangail district and parts are in Muktagacha Upazila of Mymensingh district.

Best time to go MNP & How to go: Autumn and Winter is the perfect season for travel to Madhupur Jungle National Park. Cause, in rainy season or Summer the forest become much tougher for the travellers. Tourist can reach there by bus or private vehicle. In private vehicle it will took 5/6 hours and using public transport one can get on bus from Mohakhali Tangail bus stand. the rent would be 300 or varies depend on types of buses.
